Privacy Policy
Privacy for LumaForge website customers
Last updated: September 15, 2026. LumaForge designs, launches, hosts, and maintains websites for small businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit the LumaForge website, ask about the service, submit your website brief, purchase a managed website subscription, or work with us after launch.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to information handled by LumaForge for our own website, sales, onboarding, billing, project delivery, hosting, maintenance, and customer support. A website we build for a customer may collect enquiries from that customer's visitors. In that situation, the customer is responsible for telling its visitors how their information is used, and LumaForge processes the information only as needed to operate and support the managed website.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, business name, industry, services, service areas, business hours, domain and existing website details, project notes, branding preferences, reviews, logos, photographs, and other content you ask us to place on your website.
When you subscribe, Stripe processes the payment. LumaForge receives details such as the Stripe customer or checkout identifier, payment status, subscription status, and limited billing information. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
Our website, hosting, and security systems may automatically process limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, referral information, and diagnostic or security logs. Browser storage may be used to preserve an onboarding form while you move to checkout and to support essential website functions.
How we use information
We use personal information to answer questions, evaluate a project, design and build the requested website, connect a customer-owned domain, process and administer the subscription, communicate during review and launch, operate hosting and security, complete small content updates, provide technical support, prevent fraud or misuse, maintain necessary business records, comply with legal obligations, and improve the managed website service.
When we share information
We share information only as reasonably necessary to deliver the managed website service. Current providers include Stripe for subscription payments, Vercel for website hosting and temporary project-file storage, and Resend for transactional project emails. Domain registrars, analytics tools, security services, or other providers may also process limited information when they are needed for a customer's website. These providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices and may process information outside your province or country.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or users, in connection with a business reorganization or sale, or with your direction or consent. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and safeguards
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to design and operate the website, provide support, maintain subscription and tax records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Files uploaded during onboarding are intended for project delivery and may be removed from temporary storage after they are securely delivered to LumaForge. Customer website content and operational records may be retained while the subscription remains active and for a reasonable period afterward. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, withdraw consent where applicable, or request deletion, subject to legal, contractual, and operational limits. You may also challenge our compliance with applicable privacy requirements. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Children, external services, and changes
The service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18. Our website may link to third-party services whose privacy practices we do not control. We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change; the date above identifies the latest version.

Terms of Service
Managed website subscription terms
Last updated: September 15, 2026. These Terms govern the LumaForge website and the managed website subscription advertised on it. LumaForge designs, launches, hosts, secures, and maintains a professional one-page website using the business information and materials you provide. By purchasing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are acting for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.
The managed website service
The standard subscription includes one professionally designed informational webpage, responsive layouts, managed hosting, SSL and security maintenance, a contact or quote form, basic on-page SEO setup, search-engine indexing assistance, analytics setup where applicable, technical maintenance, and reasonable small content updates. The service does not include ecommerce, booking systems, custom applications, additional pages, major redesigns, ongoing search-marketing campaigns, or other work unless agreed separately in writing.
Onboarding, content, and cooperation
You agree to provide accurate information, timely feedback, and content needed to complete the project. You represent that you own or have permission to use everything you submit, including names, logos, photographs, reviews, trademarks, and written material. You remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, and regulatory compliance of your business content and services.
Fees, recurring billing, and taxes
The standard plan is billed at $37 per month through Stripe unless a different price is agreed in writing. When the 50% first-month offer is available, the first monthly charge is $18.50 and subsequent monthly charges are $37. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method until the subscription is cancelled. Applicable taxes may be added. If payment fails or remains overdue, we may suspend work or the hosted website after reasonable notice.
Cancellation and refunds
All payments are final and non-refundable, including the first monthly payment, renewal payments, and any unused portion of a billing period, except where a refund is required by applicable law. We do not provide prorated refunds or account credits.
To cancel, you must contact LumaForge directly at LumaForgePlugins@gmail.com. Please send the request before your next renewal date and identify the business or subscription being cancelled. A cancellation is effective after LumaForge processes and confirms the request. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not refund charges already paid, and the managed website may remain available through the end of the paid billing period.
Delivery, revisions, and launch
Timelines are estimates and depend on receiving complete content and feedback. The standard service includes reasonable revisions needed to prepare the initial one-page website and small ongoing content updates. Requests that materially change the scope, design, structure, or functionality may require a separate quote.
Domains, customer materials, and LumaForge tools
You retain ownership of your domain and materials you provide. You grant LumaForge a non-exclusive licence to use, edit, reproduce, host, and display those materials as needed to provide the service. LumaForge retains ownership of its pre-existing templates, systems, code, processes, and reusable design elements. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the managed website and hosting remain available while the subscription is active.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, infringing, abusive, or harmful activity; distribute malware; interfere with the service; or submit content that violates another person’s rights. We may refuse or remove content and suspend or terminate service when reasonably necessary to address these risks.
Third-party services and availability
The service relies on third parties such as domain registrars, hosting providers, email services, analytics providers, and payment processors. Their services may be governed by separate terms. We work to keep websites available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every device or service, or that third-party services will always remain available.
SEO and business results
Basic SEO provides technical and on-page foundations, but search engines control indexing and rankings. We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, leads, sales, revenue, or any other business result.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and services are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. LumaForge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LumaForge’s aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the fees you paid to LumaForge during the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Termination and changes
Either party may end the service. We may suspend or terminate it for non-payment, material breach, unlawful use, security risk, or conduct that could harm LumaForge or others. On termination, the hosted website may be taken offline and retained data may be deleted subject to legal and operational retention needs. We may update these Terms prospectively by posting a revised version and updating the date above.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Ontario will have jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise. Questions about these Terms can be sent to LumaForgePlugins@gmail.com.
